HISTORY

Bio-Techne (formerly Bionostics) was incorporated in Acton, Massachusetts in 1981. The organization has grown and evolved to become a world leading developer, manufacturer and distributor of turnkey quality products for OEMs in critical health care. The company specializes in calibration and quality control solutions critical care / point-of-care and diabetes diagnostics test systems.

Bio-Techne (formerly Bionostics) acquired RNA Medical in 1986, which added a direct-to-hospital product line for quality control and calibration verification materials.

In 2001, Bio-Techne (formerly Bionostics) relocated to a 45,000 square foot, modern manufacturing facility located in Devens, Massachusetts specially designed to accommodate the company's advanced technologies and growing team of professionals.
