Case Study

Value assignment

The challenge

An OEM manufacturer was introducing a new instrument. The launch required significant internal resources to perform value assignment testing of the quality controls but those same resources were engaged in other, equally important activities related to the launch.

The idea

Bio-Techne (formerly Bionostics) proposed to perform the value assignment process for the customer, freeing internal resources for other responsibilities. Bio-Techne (formerly Bionostics) has significant experience in value assignment determination, making this accommodation possible.

The solution

Bio-Techne (formerly Bionostics) managed the entire value assignment process including the creation of testing protocols, sample testing, data analysis and generation of the value assignment reports. This project was carefully managed to ensure accuracy while maintaining the required schedule. Consequently, our customer was able to ensure the availability of quality controls to support the new instrument launch.
