Case Study

Graphics rebranding

The challenge

A diagnostics manufacturing customer recently underwent a corporate rebranding. This affected all their products and created a significant burden for the company's in-house graphics resources to process the changes. This would have resulted in the delayed launch of quality control materials for a new instrument.

The idea

Bio-Techne (formerly Bionostics) proposed utilization of our graphics department to complete the rebranding for quality control solutions. Bio-Techne (formerly Bionostics) would utilize our customer's artwork specifications and source files in the same manner that would occur in their own graphics department.

The solution

Bio-Techne (formerly Bionostics) performed the rebranding for eight products (boxes, inserts and labels). This service was provided at a lower cost and faster turnaround than possible internally, with no manufacturability concerns since Bio-Techne (formerly Bionostics) graphics staff performed the changes. Our customer was very pleased with the quality of the work and was able to avoid any impact to their product launch.

Frank Beauregard, Graphics Supervisor

Frank obtained his degree in communications and graphic design and worked for several years at a print shop before joining Bio-Techne (formerly Bionostics) in 2007. Frank's background in design as well as production has well prepared him to supervise the Bio-Techne (formerly Bionostics) graphics department.
